A woman is in custody without incident after pulling a knife on officers during a foot pursuit Sunday morning.
In a report from TXK Today, police were called to a disturbance in the 100 block of Medina Street where 22-year-old female fled from officers. After running a short distance, she allegedly turned and pulled a knife on police, shouting for officers to “just shoot her”. Fortunately officers were able to use a “Less Lethal” force to subdue her.
According to Texarkana, Texas Police Department Public Information Officer. Officers were called to a disturbance in the 100 block of Medina around 7:30 Sunday morning.
Information Officer, said that when officers arrived on scene a 22-year-old female fled from officers for a short distance and then, turning toward the officers brandishing a knife. One of the officers used a JPX Strike Force LE Pepper Gun and subdues the female. The female was arrested without anyone being injured.
