Brett VanZant is embedded in the Public Safety community and is well known for his hard work and dedication to the team. He not only works as a Campus Public Safety Officer and Firefighter/EMT, he also owns a CPR & First-Aid training company and works for the University of Maryland teaching Firefighters & EMTs important skills used to save lives during dangerous and catastrophic situations.
Brett started his career in 2006 volunteering with his local fire company and is still active today holding the rank of Fire Captain and President of the Department. From there he has gone on to work for both the Public & Private Sector in different roles from Fire & EMS to Security & Law Enforcement and everything in between.
Brett has been a certified Instructor for the past 6 years, working for other instructors and training centers to teach a variety of needed training topics & tools. Brett is local to Chestertown, MD living there all his life with his Wife, Daughter and Family.
