He has been with the Cohutta Police Department for 3 years. Prior to his time with the Cohutta Police Department he was in both municipal and state law enforcement for 14 years as both an agency training specialist on the municipal level, and both a supervisor and instructor on the state law enforcement level.
Ryan is a Georgia POST general instructor since 2013, and is also a Georgia POST certified firearms instructor and speed detection instructor. Ryan has over 3500 hours of POST training and over 350 hours of actual instructor training time to students.
Ryan is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a BA in history and an honors graduate of the Georgia Law Enforcement Command College at Columbus State University with a Master’s Degree in Public Safety Administration.
Ryan joined the JPX International team in 2019 after carefully looking for something that was better for his officers and himself to carry and less lethal.
After several months of research and reviewing several other “SO CALLED” less lethal weapons available, he found the best choice for his officers at the Cohutta Ga. police department was the JPX Jet Protector. The JPX is more effective with no cross contamination and subject-specific and was really his only choice.
Ryan believed in the JPX so much and only after his original certification training, he contacted the owner requesting to join the JPX International team.
If your police department is actively seeking to find something your officers can reply on and will safe their lives and not fatally injuring the subject being taken into custody look no further.
